Copac: "Decree of the 25th of July, 1550 (in the wake of the Schmalkald War) by Emperor Charles V, banning Protestants, their activities, and their writings. With this printing, it is renewed within the Netherlands after the accession of Philip II as King of Spain and the Low Countries. This decree specifically forbids the printing, copying, owning, selling, etc. of the works of Luther, and other Protestant writers".
